25 Black-Owned Restaurants in NYC
Updated 5/31/2020
I once read somewhere
Seeing these types of startling statistics regarding black-owned businesses is why it is crucial to support these types of companies. I recently watched Killer Mike’s Netflix special, where he spends three days using and consuming only products that come from the black community. This challenge results in him sleeping on a park bench and only using a bike as his main form of transportation. This special served as a reminder of why it is crucial to support a black-owned business. I have comprised a list of 25 black-owned restaurants in New York City.
If you live in Dallas, be sure to check out a list of black-owned restaurants at Brandi’s Food Diary site, and if you live in Houston, check out Black Girls Who Brunch site. These two are currently both running a Black-Owned Restaurant Bingo Challenge for Black History Month!
