Alison: Brunch at East Harlem's Newest Restaurant

As you guys know, I am no stranger to venturing over to East Harlem to find some gems to share with you all. We have so many restaurant choices in New York City, but only a couple in Harlem that you can drop in any time of the day and grab breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a cup of coffee to go. Well, now it is time to add East Harlem's newest restaurant called Alison to that list. The fact that the M102 bus will take you from Central Harlem and drop you off in front of Alison is a sign that your next brunch adventure needs to be at in East Harlem.

This cozy spot has been open since September 2019, which still makes them the new kid on the block, but their food and service are making a big impact and creating regulars already. Making reservations for brunch at Alison can be made via Resy. Let's be honest in 2020; we can't be hoping to be seated right, and no one needs surprise wait times when you are hungry for brunch. Alison is not a bottomless brunch spot, but the quality of the food is a reminder that you do not need a boozy brunch to enjoy a good meal. They do offer brunch cocktails such as your typical mimosas and bloody marys but also offer a grapefruit spritzer, that includes cava.

Alison is a place where I would brunch with my girlfriends to catch up, dine alone, and dive into a good book while awaiting my food, or an excellent place for families. What I love about Alison is it is a place for everyone, due to the diverse food menu, welcoming waitstaff, and beautiful open space. Check out my top brunch picks below and stay tuned for the dinner review of Alison!
