10 NYC Restaurants Great for Groups
Dining in groups is already a hassle but selecting a restaurant should be a no-brainer! Check out my list below for places in NYC to bring your entourage and just focus on a good time versus having a frazzled bartender.
Jacob’s Pickles - This Upper West Side eatery is known for pickles, beer, biscuits, and good ol’ comfort food. Jacob’s is serving up some large portions, so it is important you go with people you don’t mind sharing with.
Pio Pio - Known for their Peruvian rotisserie chicken that marinates for 12 hours, and this is an excellent place that is accommodating of large groups at one of their 9 locations in NYC.
The Smith - Their menu includes something for everyone such as burgers, shrimp tagliatelle, chicken pot pie, or their fab raw bar choices. Feel free to check out their available times via OpenTable for reservations at any of their 4 locations.
Soco Brooklyn - This Clinton Hill restaurant made my Top 10: Brunch In Brooklyn list and knows how to make sure you and the crew have a good time. Soco is known for items such a Shrimp & Lobster grits and Red Velvet Waffles.
Burger and Lobster - UK’s favorite made it’s way to NYC and opened two locations where us Americans can grab a whole lobster at an affordable price. Their locations in Flatiron and Bryant Park have large dining spaces which makes for short wait times and perfect for large groups.
Peter Luger -This Williamsburg steakhouse has been in business since 1887, and they complete the dry-age process on site. Dining in large groups can get a little tricky when it comes to this bill, but Peter Luger is a CASH ONLY establishment.
Row House - If you are uptown a great is the option is Row House, and their menu includes items such as fried oysters, short ribs, and Branzino. The Row House was featured on my Top 10: Brunch in Harlem list among-st other places to have a great brunch experience.
The Bronx Public - Grabbing food with your friend can be easy and fun when you have a table at The Bronx Public. Their menu doesn’t have an entree over $20 which makes them affordable and enough money left over for their craft drinks. The Henny Punch is unforgettable!
Queens Comfort - Arrive early and home hungry to this Astoria establishment. Trying to decide what you will feast on will be rather difficult because the menu will leave you torn but the desserts are memorable. I am STILL thinking about the Arnold Palmer donut from 2 months ago!
Sugar Freak - Looking for some good creole food? Grab the posse and tell them to meet you for some of the best gumbo or praline bacon bread pudding.
