Brunch at de Mole in Williamsburg
The Rona got us at home (for good reason), but that does not mean you have to give up brunch. Last summer, I told you about an authentic Mexican restaurant located in Williamsburg called de Mole as a dinner option, but let's talk about their brunch. Some of the items photographed in this piece are available for delivery or takeout, and the others you will have to experience once outside is open. This family-owned restaurant in Brooklyn prides itself on their mole sauce that that takes three days and 26 spices to make, their blend of contemporary and traditional Mexican food, and let's not forget the Tequila on tap. Check out my previous post here to learn more about their dinner service!
de Mole offers bottomless brunch that includes unlimited food and drinks, and there are only a handful of restaurants that offer this in NYC. This Williamsburg restaurant provides unlimited food and drinks for $45 and unlimited food for only $30 for two hours. To get a full look at their brunch menu to check out their site.
Here are my favorite items on their brunch menu:
Taquitos
Chorizo Sliders
Enfrijolada De Hongos
Conchas
de Mole's bar is just as impressive as their food menu, and what is unique is that they offer Tequila on draft! Chilled Tequila is great for cocktails because they do not need to be shaken as much since the spirit is already at a lower temperature, and you are less likely to have a watered-down cocktail. During this era of take out and delivery, de Mole is offering buy one get one margaritas with the purchase of an entree.
We are living in unprecedented times, and the hospitality industry needs our help more than ever. Please exercise sound judgment when deciding to venture out to grab food and follow the guidelines the CDC and your doctor. Don't feel comfortable ordering take out? Purchasing a gift card from your local eatery is a great way to support a restaurant.
Stay safe and be well!
